The spark

One community. Many voices. One movement.

Every movement begins with a spark. A conversation, a moment or a decision to be part of something bigger.

Across Beaconsfield, residents of all ages are stepping forward, some by sharing their voice, others by making a gift.

Together, they are bringing the Cultural Centre to life.

Here is how that movement is taking shape.

The spark begins here

A project like this doesn’t begin all at once. It grows: through conversations, ideas, and shared enthusiasm.

These are the people who help the project shine across the community.

“The Centre will give young people space to relax, study, and recharge. I’ve grown up with the library and I can’t wait to experience what’s next.”

I’m excited to discover:

The creative & technology lab

“The Centre will transform community life. Flexible spaces will allow groups to come together, connect, and build new partnerships.”

I’m excited to discover:

The community rooms and the multipurpose hall

“The Centre, the Marina Pavilion and the green spaces will improve access to the waterfront for the entire community. This site will become a true all-inclusive destination.”

I’m excited to discover:

The Marina Pavilion and the bistro, with its lake view terrace

“The Centre is a bridge to connection, it’s where generations meet, and ideas spark.”

I’m excited to discover:

The multipurpose hall and the adult reading area by the windows

“The library will be the beating heart of this building. It’s the reason people will walk through the doors, and once they’re in, they’ll discover the rest. That’s how bridges are built.”

I’m excited to discover:

The community rooms and beautiful outdoor space

“This place will help anchor our community. It will bring us together for decades to come. It’s something we’ll leave behind for our children, and their children.”

The first sparks of a collective movement

The first donors chose to support the project because they believe in the power of a place that brings people together.

Beyond the building, they are supporting a vision: accessibility, sustainability, shared experiences and a lasting legacy for our community.

“The Beaconsfield Cultural Centre project is truly exciting. It will attract Beaconsfield residents not only because of its prime location on the shores of Lake Saint-Louis, but also because of its architectural elegance and the programs and services that will be offered in its modular spaces. We are pleased to be able to contribute to its funding and are confident that our entire community will benefit greatly from it.”

Thanks to the generosity of Lorne and Louise Trottier, your gift will go even further.

Every donation made during this campaign will be matched, doubling the impact of your support.

The matching gift will apply to all contributions received throughout the campaign, up to a total of 500,000$.

Caroline Tison

“I am proud to support the new Beaconsfield Cultural Centre as both a donor and a campaign ambassador. This project is deeply personal to me. My grandparents moved to Beaconsfield in 1947 to raise their family here, and I have been proud to call this community home since 1999.

My family and I were honoured to contribute to this campaign and to name a section of the library ‘Famille Tison,’ overlooking the trees and the lake. It is a meaningful way for us to honour my grandparents who were passionate about culture and nature. This beautiful project meets a real need by creating a vibrant, modern space for residents and opens up the lakefront for greater public enjoyment.

I hope others will join in supporting a place that will inspire connection, learning, and community for generations to come.”
